everything you need to know 🌿

I can't believe that Wild Heart Herb Fest is TOMORROW Reader, and its going to be sunny this year!!!!!

We have been working so diligently getting everything ready for you. It's been a beautiful collaboration, putting this event together has been a coven effort for sure! I could NOT have done this without all of the wonderful people involved! I am so grateful for this beautiful community we are creating :)

Ok, on to everything you need to know for Wild Heart Herb Fest!

When you arrive for the day, please check in at Wild Heart Herb House located at 777 Shawmut Avenue in New Bedford, MA 02746. You may begin to arrive at 9:30 to pick up a schedule, pour yourself a cup of tea, and get ready for the day!

Opening circle is at 10:00. We will start with a nice warm welcome, land acknowledgement, calling in the directions, asking for support from our loving plant allies, and setting an intention for our day together.

There are 3 or 4 herbalism classes / workshops to choose from during each of the three time slots, all will be informative, inspiring, and interesting for sure! You can find the full class schedule here. YOU NEED TO HAVE A TICKET TO HERB FEST TO ATTEND ALL CLASSES! GET YOUR TICKET HERE!

We have a unique + creative array of vendors, healing practitioners, and botanical artisans set up around the herb shop all day from 10-4. Nature art making, Thai bodywork, oracle card readings, candles, tie dye, zine making, herbal products, and more! You DO NOT need to have a ticket to herb fest to peruse and attend our makers market, this is open to everyone! Each vendor + practitioner will charge their own prices for products and services.

This is a grassroots, no/low tech community event so there are some things that you need to bring to ensure a smooth day! Please bring:

  • a full water bottle
  • a mug or jar for tea
  • a towel, yoga mat, blanket, or packable chair to sit on (we have a few folding chairs to share for those that are unable or prefer not to sit on the ground)
  • something to add to our community alter like a flower from your garden, stone, shell, something that you made (you can take it back home with you)
  • LUNCH! There will be no food vendors on site so please pack yourself a picnic lunch or maybe do a little potluck with your friends that are attending
  • a notebook (we have some available for purchase at the shop) + writing utensil

Street Parking is available on Shawmut Ave and Loftus St bordering Haskell Gardens and on Sutton St and Townsend St which are smaller side streets across Shawmut Ave from Wild Heart Herb House. There are no meters or time restrictions. Handicapped parking is available right on site.

If you need any assistance or different accommodations please reach out to us and we will do everything possible to ensure you have a safe, easy, and fun day with us at Wild Heart Herb Fest! We are happy to accommodate you!

This is a day to connect with community and make new friends! New this year: name tags! Introduce yourself to someone, say hello to our vendors and healing practitioners, chat with a teacher after class. Everyone is excited to meet you! I know this can be intimidating and if you need some support, come find me, Michele, or Amelia, we will be happy to introduce you to someone that would love to get to know you! We even have a special time for Community Connection before Closing Circle.

And just to add, that this is an inclusive event that is open to ALL PEOPLE and is a VERY QUEER FRIENDLY day. Bring your own unique vibes to add to our colorful prism of a community gathering!

HAVEN'T SIGNED UP YET? GET YOUR TICKET HERE! JOIN ALL THE MAGIC, COMMUNITY, AND FUN THIS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 27 AT WILD HEART HERB FEST!! IT'S GOING TO BE THE BEST DAY! JOIN US!

With incredible amounts of joy and enthusiasm, I extend much love to you, my friend, and I can't wait to see you tomorrow!
