exciting updates for 2025! 🥳

Hi Reader, I miss you!

It's been a little over a month since I've written due to a very busy holiday shopping season (thank you SO MUCH to everyone that visited in December, I appreciate you sooo much! It was our busiest month yet!!) and my intention for January to rest and pull some things in order in my personal life (finally beginning an herbal protocol that my dear friend and herbalist Chara put together for me, making more of a commitment to my health and wellbeing, organizing my new home to support my life better, just spending slow cozy times with people that I love.)

Even though it is staying lighter our longer (yay!), these cold dark days remind me to simplify, snuggle up, and take care of myself.

I've been hinting that we are brewing up some really fun and explorative ideas for Wild Heart in 2025 and it's finally time to share!

First up - I'm going to be hosting an informative, inspiring, and action step oriented online program for Earth Centered Entrepreneurs in March!

I've been feeling called to offer this for a few months and I'm having so much fun putting it together! This is short and sweet three session series that is chock full of inspiration, guidance, and community connections through an anti-capitalist lens.

We will meet on zoom and discuss topics such as: cultivating community, building an business that’s authentic to you, creating pathways for opportunities, money money money - how to get it /store it /spend it /think about it, legalities, creating products and/or services, what to spend your time actually doing, and I’m sure much more.

Get the support you need to grow your anti-capitalist business sustainably and in community with others! Learn more + sign up here!!

Second - We will be hosting or first ever all day herbalism retreat at Wild Heart Herb House + Haskell Gardens this spring on Saturday, May 10!

Expect tincture making with herbs we forage in the gardens, sipping on custom herbal tea blends, creating community with other incredible humans, crafting luscious herbal body oils, and learning about your innate and ancestral connection to the plants that grow around you. Sooo dreamy!! I am so excited for this!!

There are limited spaces for this event and I expect to sell out so click here to sign up for the waitlist and be the first to know when ticket sales are live!

And third - we will be going strong with social gatherings, live music, sauna socials, art nights, and much more EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT ALL YEAR!

We started staying open later on Friday evenings this fall and its been incredible! The herb shop is so lovely + cute after dark - candles are lit, overhead lights are off, and the kindest and most open hearted humans come through. It's a super low key hang, come chill and drink tea with us. Come as you are! All are welcome!

Here is the upcoming schedule for Friday Night Gatherings at Wild Heart:

TONIGHT! January 24 from 5-8: Care in Community Sauna Social with Altaer Sauna. This month has NOT been easy for so many reasons so come get warm + cozy with people who appreciate you exactly how you are. No reservation needed, just come on by. $35 for sauna, tea, and good company.

January 31 from 6-8: Live music with Adam Gonsalves and Lauren Cloutier. My partner Adam just released his first solo EP (you can listen to it here) and this will be his first time playing these tracks live! Lauren is a friend and musician from Boston who will be serenading us with sweet tunes. House concert vibes for sure.

February 7 from 5-8: Queering Connection Sauna Social with Altaer Sauna. Open to our LGBTQIA+ friends and supportive allies. YOU ARE WELCOME HERE ALWAYS NOW AND FOREVER!!! No reservation needed, just come on by. $35 for sauna, tea, and queer company.

February 14 from 5-8: Cozy Vibes and Cacao with Nico + Michele. Let's braid each other's hair, talk about our crushes, pull oracle cards, and pretend its a middle school sleep over! All are welcome to this casual hang, free to attend.

Just as a reminder - herbs work great for winter wellness! We've got all the locally made herbal remedies to support your immune system like elderberry syrup, fire cider, and echinacea tincture. Also, Last week I spent over $1000 on herbs (!!!) to refill our jars and make more of our popular tea blends, yall have been buying so many herbs! I love it!!

WILD HEART HERB HOUSE IS OPEN: THUR 12-5 / FRI 12-8 / SAT 10-3

OUR ADDRESS IS 777 SHAWMUT AVE IN NEW BEDFORD MASSACHUSETTS

Support your local herbalists and artists! We love you and we need you!

Love you lots + see you soon!

hi! there's a lot going on at Wild Heart this spring so we have added an "on the calendar" section at the end of each email so you always know what's going on! The first time I attended a local plant walk it completely changed my life. Many years ago I was invited by local herbalist Sarah Berkman to explore a local farm in Portsmouth, Rhode Island to forage for herbs, gather some that interested us, and just be outside with the plants and each other. I brought my then very young son Lennox...
