Hi Reader! Summer is summering over here at Wild Heart Herb House and we are having so much fun! I know its not everyone's favorite season but I am in my GLORY feeling hot, swimming in the ocean, basking in the sun, making tea with herbs from my garden, spending quality time with friends + fam, and really really really enjoying being Haskell Garden's herb witch answering your questions and sharing the joys and empowerment of herbal medicine with our community!! The doors are open, the shop is full + busy, the gardens are GORGEOUS and there's lots happening at Wild Heart Herb House in New Bedford, Mass: ☀️ This Friday night July 18 from 7-9 pm is our monthly Open Mic Poetry, hosted by Sarah Mulvey, the poet laureate of New Bedford, with a special dance performance by Aneshia Savino out in the gardens, its going to be glorious! Join us! We started these monthly poetry gatherings over a year ago and they have grown to be an incredible evening of community and togetherness. So many people comment upon departure "this is what I've been looking for! thank you!" It's such an honor to offer the space for such special gatherings. ☀️ This week we welcome The Faerest Realm and Katie O'Farrell for our second Summer Saturday of the season. Katie will be leading a FREE Guided Meditation in the gardens at 1:00 pm and Faeth will be at the shop all day 10-3 with her mystical magical fairy potions and creations. Everyone is friendly and excited to meet you, come visit! ☀️ One more thing, our Herbalism Day Retreat is a month away on Aug 16! Our spring retreat was nothing short of a *perfect* day foraging for herbs in the gardens, creating custom tea blends, enjoying a delicious made-for-you picnic lunch, crafting herbal medicine, and so much more! Lounging and learning with other plant folks all day?! So nourishing and empowering! ☀️ Hope to see you soon at Wild Heart, if you've meaning to come by for ages, take this as your personal invitation to make it happen. I would love to see you! Love, Nico PS - We are open every week Thursdays 12-5, Friday 12-8, and Saturday 10-3. AND our most popular herbal tea blends, herbal cacao, salves, and oils are available on our website 24/7 I just made a fresh batch of Healing Hands Salve :) |

But this time of year also has another meaning for me now... a time of dreaming and...
Hi there Reader! There is definitely a morning crisp in the air and it is getting noticeably darker in the evenings. While I quietly mourn the passing of summer (it went by too fast as always) I also celebrate the bounty of the autumn season upon us, easy sleeping during cooler nights, and all of the incredible events that we have going on...
